— STEPS TO BECOMING A GRENADIAN CITIZENSHIP —

Applying for citizenship from Grenada takes four to five months to complete. The entire process is efficient and adapted to meeting the needs of investors and safeguarding the integrity of the programme. There are Eight essential steps that applicants must follow to ensure they can be granted the gift of Grenada Citizenship. Throughout each step, approved marketing and local agents will guide applicants, so as to ensure they sufficiently understand and meet the required criteria.

Select a Marketing Agent and an Approved Project

Applicants must contact an approved Marketing Agent to manage their applications and select an approved real estate project such as Hideaway to begin the citizenship process. Applications will only be accepted by the Citizenship by Investment Unit if presented by an approved Marketing Agent.

Complete Required Documents and Select a Local Agent

Applicants must complete the reservation, investment, lease, and buyback agreements, as well as pay a 10% deposit to Hideaway True Blue Inc. Once the documents have been signed, applicants will be introduced to an approved local agent, who will assist the client and the marketing agent in accurately completing and reviewing the required citizenship forms and supporting documents.

Submit Application to the Escrow Bank and Citizenship by Investment Unit

Once a file is ready for submission it is shared with the escrow bank, which will decide whether to accept or reject funds from the applicant. If an applicant is approved for money transfer, he/she will make the first citizenship payments and the citizenship application will be submitted to the Citizenship by Investment Unit for citizenship processing.

Due Diligence Background Check

Each application is vetted by the Government through a three-layer due diligence system to ensure that only the most deserving individuals are awarded citizenship. Every applicant on the citizenship application must pass the due diligence test for the application to be approved.

Receive Approval Letter and Fulfil Citizenship Payments

Successful applicants will be issued a conditional approval letter by the Unit instructing them to complete their real estate purchase, pay all remaining citizenship fees, and submit all remaining documents. Upon receiving proof of payment, the Unit will issue the Certificate of Registration establishing that the applicant has received Grenadian citizenship.
